Connie Saldana Rogue Valley Council of Governments
Connie Saldana has twenty six years’ experience working with seniors and people with disabilities in Southern Oregon at Rogue Valley Council of Governments, a designated Area Agency on Aging. With the help of group of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and in partnership with AARP Oregon, the organization developed its Lifelong Housing Certification Program to help create a greater supply of homes that meet the needs of residents of all ages and abilities and a system to help interested customers find those homes. The terminology for accessible features on the Lifelong Housing Certification Checklist has been adopted by RESO’s Data Dictionary. The program has been nationally recognized by AARP and the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging. Connie has a Masters in International Management and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist through the National Association of Home Builders.
